There is an open enrollment period for the Travis School of Arts and Academics. All applications for grades one through five must be returned directly to the District Office between March 12 and April 9, 2002 by 4:00 p.m. If mailed, applications must be received in the District Office by April 9th, 4:00 p.m. Applications will be distributed to parent(s)/guardian(s) of incoming kindergarten students at the same time that the students are registered at their home schools. Open enrollment period for kindergarten students is April 23-May 27, 4:00 p.m. All applications returned within the open enrollment periods will have equal priority. If the number of applications exceeds the number of available spaces, requests for enrollment will be randomly selected through a lottery-type process. Additional information regarding the application/admissions process is printed on the application.
Applications are available at each school site and at the District Office.
All students must be enrolled in his/her school of residence prior to applying for the Travis School of Arts and Academics.
