There will be an informational meeting at each of the Travis Unified School District elementary sites for parents/guardians and students, grades K-4 and parents/guardians of incoming kindergarten students who are interested in attending the Travis School of Arts and Academics at Center Elementary for the 2002-2003 academic year. The arts and academics program will give students the opportunity to study academics through the use of the visual and performing arts. The School of Arts and Academics will offer a complete elementary program including science, mathematics, language arts, and history-social science. The program will be filled during an open enrollment period after all elementary schools have held an orientation meeting. Students applying from outside the Travis Unified School District attendance area will be considered on a space-available basis, with a release from their resident school.
