Mrs. Easton's fifth grade class found a creative way to show what they had learned about their unit on Space Science.  These children learned how to make the earth revolve around the sun by using PowerPoint's animation feature.  There were able to show how gravity and inertia work together to keep a planet from crashing into the sun as well as explain why we have day and night.

Their unit concluded with a trip to the Discovery Museum's Challenger Mission in Sacramento.  What a learning experience for these youngsters!

Take a look at their projects and learn about the Solar System for yourself!
