A Retelling of Cinderella 

Mrs. Russell's first grade student were learning about fairy tales.  In this retelling of Cinderella, children had to list the characters, the setting, and describe the beginning, middle, and end of the story.  They then illustrated each part of the story. Mrs. Russell used a digital camera to make an electronic image of the children's artwork to use as a backdrop for each of the three scenes.  Looks were priceless as children watched their artwork appear on the computer!  "How did you do that!" they exclaim with huge grins!
