Technology Titans of Travis

The United States of America 

One fifth grade project generally entails students researching one of our 50 states and writing a report.  Many children literally throw away this report and all their hard work once they get home!  One creative alternative is to have the children create reports using PowerPoint.  Children worked harder on this project then when writing them in a more traditional way.  Their research was more in-depth as they explained what each element of the state seal stood for and then imported an image of that seal.

Students in Mr. Kubiak's fifth grade did just that.  Each child chose a different state of our Union, therefore, all project are posted.
