Travis Mission Statement

The mission of our school is to provide a comprehensive educational program for all students while maintaining a positive commitment to learning by staff, students, and the community. We promote high expectations in a caring environment that allow everyone to work toward his/her maximum potential.

Travis Vision Statement

As educators, we believe that teaching is more than an occupation comprised of lesson plans, staff meetings, and summer vacations. We believe that teaching provides us with the opportunity to help each child develop the ability to create and think on his own. By empowering students with this gift, we give them the opportunity to go beyond their greatest expectations.

A Mealtime Account is maintained for each student.  Parents can check their child's balance online and make credit card deposit to meal accounts.  Passcodes are required to access this account.  Contact Food Services at 437-8217 for passcodes.  Visit the school district web site at www.travisusd.k12.ca.us and follow the link to on-line payments which will take you to MealTime online or go directly to https://www.mymealtime.com Online payments are scheduled to process at 2 am daily. However, because of power and network interruptions, you are strongly cautioned to maintain a buffer balance on your student account. Elementary students will be allowed to charge the value of one lunch and then receive one emergency sandwich. After that, students will be sent to the office to call home so that a sack lunch or money to pay off the account that day can be brought to the school.  If the online system is not being utilized, students must deposit cash or checks payable to Travis Unified School District in the morning before school in the office deposit box prior to 10:00.

Applications for Free and Reduced meals are available in the main office or at the District office.  It is necessary to reapply each year for the free/reduced program. Notification will be made of lunch application approval or denial. See Application Form sent home the first day of school (attached to Parent Handbook).

You are welcome to eat lunch with your child. Adult lunches are $3.25 and milk is $0.65.
