Scandia won the 2012 California Distinguished School award!
We were one of four schools in the County!
We submitted an application on November 30 to try to win this very
prestigious honor.
Scandia has been a CA Distinguished School three times already in 1987, 1997 and 2008!
Our site validation visit went extremely well on March 22 and we found out March
29
that we won the award again! We had a fabulous Celebration on May 16 with
the students,
staff, parents, volunteers, district office staff, local and state
representatives. Way to go Scandia community!
