Prices and Information

Students may purchase a school cafeteria lunch or bring lunch from home. Cafeteria lunches are $2.50 (40 cents for reduced) and extra milk is 60 cents. Breakfast is $1.50 (30 cents for reduced).  

We are now using a computerized Point of Sale system to serve breakfast and lunch.  In order to speed up the process during lunch service no cash payments  will be accepted during lunch.  Parent/Guardians are strongly encouraged to make a deposit to their child's account and maintain a positive balance. Send the exact amount you want to be deposited. No change will be given.  If you need a pass code, please contact Michele Berry in the Scandia front office.

Please note that each student will be allowed to charge 1 meal only.  Once a student has charged  (you will be billed for the charge) the student will then receive an emergency meal.  An emergency meal consists of a cheese sandwich and white milk.  Report cards and transfer information will be delayed if your student's meal account has a negative balance.  Households that are on the district's "bad check" list will not be allowed to write checks to pay for school meals.  The office makes a courtesy call when balances are in the negative.  Please do not ignore these calls!
