Assessing Student Progress

Student progress toward achieving the standards is measured on a regular basis using a variety of assessments. Required state and district testing, performance assessments, student projects, tests, and teacher observations form a multiple measures assessment system.

Assessment information helps teachers and principals to provide quality programs that support all students in achieving the district’s standards.

The Home/School Connection

Learning is a continuous process that involves the home as well as the school. Your child needs to see the relationship between the classroom learning experience and his or her life out of school. Your child will benefit from the knowledge that you are interested in and supportive of his or her educational progress. The following are guidelines to help you ensure your child’s success.
