QUARTER PROJECT: SCIENCE GAME
Design a game using all your knowledge of science since you started class in September. You may use any or all the information you have learned. Your game must be in color and creativity is part of your grade. You will be required to share and explain your game with the class (2 minute presentation). We will play the games at the end of the year as a review for the final exam.
MUSTS:
- You must have at least 50 questions relating to your science studies as part of your game.
- You must make your board and board pieces, do not use another game board from home. Your board must be no larger than 52cm by 48cm (smaller than the top of your desk).
- Please use RECYCLED material whenever possible.
- You must place all loose game pieces in a clear baggie with your name, period and date inside the bag (attach the bag to the game board). You must make the game pieces! Your game pieces should have something to do with your game.

- You must make a 2-minute class presentation (3 minutes maximum). You can hold your game as you explain it. You must have eye contact and speak clearly. Practice and have note cards to help you.
- You must keep this information handout in your notebook, section 2.
If you choose to do a computer game, see teacher for parameters. Please…. No gambling games and no partners.
Hint: Look at other games for ideas and rules. Some games ideas: natural selection and evolution, dissections, insects, life cycles, diversity, drugs and humans, cells and cell parts, genetics and heredity, DNA, properties of light and color, scientific method, classification, body systems etc…
