Fitness Testing
All 7th grade students will be doing the California State Physical Fitness testing during the months of March, April and May. The attached brochure has more information about this test. Brochure
Grading Policies
Please review the Physical Education Policies with your student.
Clothes will be available for purchase during the first several weeks of school.
STANDARD UNIFORM
SHIRT – A solid white short sleeved t-shirt type (no logos, buttons, zippers, collars, etc.) SHORTS – Solid colored scarlet or flag red pull-on type (no logos, buttons, zippers, etc.) SWEATS – Sweatpants and sweatshirts must be solid scarlet or flag red
(no logos, zippers, etc.)
SOCKS – Made of cotton and preferably white for sanitary reasons
ATHLETIC SHOES – To have rubber soles, supportive arches, and shoelaces.
NO HIKING SHOES, BOOTS, OR “PLATFORM” TENNIS SHOES, sandals, etc!
PHYSICAL EDUCATION UNIFORMS
Students are NOT required to purchase the uniform from Golden West Middle School. For your convenience, however, Golden West Physical Education uniforms may be purchased from the Department. Available sizes (adult) while supplies last
T-shirt: $ 4.00 small, medium, large, extra large
Shorts: $ 7.00 extra small, small, medium, large, extra large
Sweatpants: $11.00 extra small, small, medium, large, extra large
Sweatshirt, hooded w/pocket: $15.00 small, medium, large, extra large
Cinch Bag: $ 4.00 one size
No exchanges or returns will be allowed once the item has been written on, worn, or washed. CASH OR CHECK PAYABLE TO GOLDEN WEST MIDDLE SCHOOL.
