Here is some of the basic information you will need to include in your presidential report. Your report may have more information than you present in your classroom report. Extra credit will be given for reports turned in before the due date.
- Dates - Birth and death, started politics, presidential election, length of term and ages for significant dates.
- Where did he come from? Who were his parents, and what did they do?
- Wife - maiden name, dates, What role did she play in the presidency?
- Children - number, names and ages; what happened to them?
- History - What was going on in the world and in the United States at that time?
- Other Famous People of that Time - List 5 other famous people and tell why they were famous.
- Map of the U.S. - How many states were there at the time, which ones were they and which ones were added during his term?
- What was special about his term? What were some of his nicknames? What was one of his firsts as president?
- Write a question for the class about your president. Give the answer.

At least four sources: encyclopedia, almanac, presidential books in the classroom, and library books.
