Welcome to Mr. Schultz's 5th Grade Classroom

Welcome to our Home Page,

I hope that by working together, we can give the students the best possible education available. This year we will study reading, math, U.S. History, weather, matter, plants and many other subjects. Here is some basic information and ideas that might help.

This is a list of some of the assignments that need to be completed for this trimester, which ends on June 8th

Reports need to be finished on or before May 18th, to receive full credit for the trimester.

  1. Three book reports should be completed on books of at least 100 pages.
Only one book by the same author is allowed in each trimester. The first report should be done by April 13th, the second by April 27th and the lastby May 18th.

  2. The first book report should be on a biography, including a second source of information.

  3. One of the book reports this year should be on a "Battle of the Books," book.

  4. Remember to read at least 30 minutes each day and log it on your Weekly Reading Record.

  5. Practice your math facts and times tables to 12.
