The afternoon kindergarten classes and first grade classes, had the wonderful opportunity to see and pet a baby goat. Ms. Mary Kustin, who is currently student teaching in Mrs. Weaver's first grade classroom, brought Annie, one of her more than 30 goats to to school!

Students were able to pet Annie and some got to hold Annie's giant baby bottle from which she drank water., and ask questions about goats.We learned that if a goat gets too warm, it can die. They are sensitive to heat.
