Fiday-Night-Live Comes to Cambridge
Intermediate students at Cambridge School have been receiving the benefits of a group called Fiday-Night-Live. Their goal is to help the students find alternatives to "just hanging out" and to build characteristics like team work and cooperation. Two different classes at a time have enjoyed these assemblies during the school year.
Games and music make these lessons easier and more enjoyable to learn. Most of the games are designed to teach the students that the only way to win and succeed is to work together and cooperate. They work in teams or relays and learn to listen to each other and consider the feelings of other students. This helps establish a foundation that we build upon in the classroom too.
