Congratulations to Shannon Weatherbie, a 3rd grade student in Mrs. Wylie's class. Her poster won First Place in an art contest portraying the Diverse Spirit of Solano County. The contest was open to all 3rd and 4th graders in Solano County. Shannon received a beautiful plaque and a $75 savings bond for her efforts and artistic talent. Way to go, Shannon!

"We look different on the outside. But inside we are all the same. It doesn't matter what we dress like or what kind of skin color we have. What really matters is we are all friends."
