Ms. King, KUIC Teacher of the Month
May, 2010 |
Barbara Hoover from KUIC Radio's Coffee Break, presented Cambridge third grade teacher Ms. King with a plaque and a trophy for being selected KUIC's Teacher of the Month for May. Ms. King's students Taylor and Vincenzo came up with the idea of writing an essay and entering Ms. King's name in the contest.
The contest, sponsored by KUIC and Potrero Hills Landfill presented Ms. King with a plaque, a trophy, a $100 gift certificate to Staples to buy classroom supplies, gift certificate to Fuso restaurant, and a certificate for a field trip to Potrero Hill Landfill. The class will receive mini pizza certificates.
