Cambridge School as part of the Stand Up for Education Day, held a "Hands Around the School" activity! Students, parents, staff members, and guests all made a big circle around the edge of the playground. Mrs. Green-Ownby welcomed everyone and led the group in singing "This School is Your School".

Parents got fliers to take action and call their legislators to stress the fact that funding for California's schools cannot continue to be cut. Over $17 billion has been cut from schools and colleges the past two years. Special guests included Gary Craig from the TUSD School Board and Ryan Chalk from the Vacaville Reporter.
