Kindergarten and Third Grade Buddies Dissect Owl Pellets
June 2, 2010 |
On Wednesday, June 2, Ms. King's third grade class went to kindergarten help their kindergarten buddies dissected barn owl pellets. They found many rodent and bird bones and skulls in the pellets. The students used tweezers to pick through the fur and feathers. Bone charts were used to identify the various bones and teeth.
Thank you Ms. Kings Class for helping the kindergarten students with this "science" experience.
