Bike Rodeo
May 25, 2010 |
A Bicycle Safety Rodeo took place at Cambridge on May 25th. This event was sponsored by the Solano Transportation Authority and the City of Vacaville.
Staffing this Bicycle Safety event were Tracy Nachand and Nazlin Huerta from the Solano County Health Department Education Services. Jeff Knowles, City of Vacaville Deputy Directory of Public Works Traffic Engineering Division observed the Rodeo.
The bicycle safety instructors helped the students fit their helmets properly, and gave a safety briefing. Students rode through various obstacle courses demonstrating the skills that they had learned. Student received a goodie Bag when they complete the training program.
Even ion the rain, the students had a wonderful time!
