Third-grader Monica M. and fifth-grader Jacob R. both placed this year in the annual Solano County Library bookmark contest. Monica placed 3rd in her grade catagory and Jacob placed 1st in his grade catagory. A representative from the Solano County Library, Mr. Rhodes, presented Monica and Jacob with copies of their bookmarks to share with their classmates.

This is Monica's first year winning and Jacob's third year in a row winning in the contest. In third grade Jacob won first place and last year he placed third.
