Ms. King's Third Grade
Owl Pellets |
Students in Ms. King's third grade class turned into scientists this week during their study of owl behavior. The students dissected barn owl pellets and found many bones and skulls that had been regurgitated by the owls. The owls' prey consisted mainly of voles, shrews, and mice. The students did a fantastic job of identifying the bones on individual bone charts. Hats off for a job well done!
