After a really close competition with extra elimination events Team 2 finally won this year's Cambridge Battle of the Books. 12 teams with 4 contestants in each team started out reading a dozen books. They had a first elimination event but the teams were so good and so close, that we had to have another elimination event to narrow it down to 4 teams.

Finally, on May 20th the 3r, 4th, 5th and 6th grade classes assembled to watch the final event. It was still close as the teams answered questions about the books they had read. Team 2 finally won with 20 points while the other teams had 18, 17, and 16 points. We look forward to another close competition next year as we will be including the 4th grade students along with the 5th and 6th graders.
