Ms. King's class has been studying about owls. On Tuesday, September 23rd, the students dissected barn owl pellets. We found many rodent and bird bones and skulls in the pellets. We used tweezers to pick through the fur and feathers. We used bone charts to identify the various bones and teeth.
Fourth graders: Tania, Ekemini, Vanessa, Laila, and Brit stopped by to help the students with the identification process. They were super helpers! We had an awesome time!
