To our school she is the perfect fit!
Thinking back seventeen years ago
She started as our favorite volunteer
Her son was in Mr. K’s kindergarten
Soon "instruction Assistant" became her new career.
Her good humor and love for children
Was clear to us from the start
Passing out warm fuzzies
Comes naturally from her heart.
Reading, writing, and ‘rithmetic
She helps students with these and more
Working at tables, desks, and the board
Sometimes even on the floor!
She shares her talents and interests
She’s the queen of rubber stamping
And on a rare break from school
She and her husband can be found camping.
Her attendance is perfect, her friends are many
She certainly is not a loser
Our students and staff think she’s really cool
Because she drives a PT Cruiser!
