Cambridge's Fourth Grade Discovers Gold

Cambridge's entire fourth grade class recently explored Marshall Gold Discovery State Historic Park. On May 22nd, student's were able to discover first hand how difficult it was to make a living panning and mining for gold. Although nobody hit the Mother Lode, they came away with the knowledge of how difficult life was for the 49ers. Our thanks to Cambrige's P.T.A., without them, field trips like this wouldn't be possible.
