Cambridge Elementary held its annual Muffins With Mom event on Wednesday
morning, October 03, 2001. The event, sponsored by Cambridge’s very own
dynamic PTA, had an unprecedented success as standing room only capacity was
reached within minutes of the starting time. This was the perfect time for children
to share a treat with an adult female that they trust and love. At the same
time, the event facilitated the opportunity for adults to come together in a
welcoming environment. The atmosphere was filled with plenty of smiles and friendly
dialogue.
We would like to extend our gratitude to all the PTA members for making this
event possible. A special recognition goes to Carmen Ryan, Cindi Hawk, Sue Braden,
Carmen Hamilton, Jennifer Redman, Julie Roudin, Cathy Weaver, Cheryl Shea, Julie
Leland, Shannon Stumpf, Keari Stumpf, Heather Stumpf, Karen Stumpf and Shirley
Webb for their time and effort in putting it all together.
Most of all, we would like to thank our community for joining us this morning.
