Thirty-three second graders enjoyed pizza, soda, and games at Round Table Pizza on Wednesday, May 23rd. This was their reward for reading the most pages in the Governor's Reading Award Program. Cambridge students read 1,178,830 pages from October 1 to April 1.
The second graders read 353,749 pages. Ms. Bowers' 20 students read an amazing 134,943 pages to win honors as the top class of Cambridge. All 20 of her students got to eat pizza. Students in the other second grade classes that read over 6,000 pages also attended the pizza party. Congratulations, 2nd graders, for a job well done!
