
Cambridge School welcomes our new office and administrative staff, Dr. Ruth McClanahan, interim principal, Luis Carias assistant principal, Margarita Flores, principal secretary, and Margaret Comer, attendance clerk.
Easing the administrative changes in our the office, Dr. Ruth McClanahan is serving as interim-principal. She brings a wealth of experience from her 30+ years in education. Before she retired from the Travis School Unified District, Dr. Ruth served as Assistant Superintendent and personnel director for Travis Unified. We are fortunate to have her guidance.
Luis Carias comes to us from our sister school Foxboro. Luis was Assistant principal of Foxboro for the last year. Mr. Carias has 18 years experience working in the education field.
Our clerical staff is lead by Margarita Flores. She has 18 years of experience working in two different school districts. She has worked five years as a bilingual instructional aide and 13 years in the clerical field.
Our new attendance clerk is Mrs. Comer. As a parent of three children in the district and as an employee, she has been very involved with the Travis school district. Mrs. Comer has 30 years of office work experience and she has worked in the Travis cafeteria program and as an IEP aide.
