Ms. Hill's class participated in our Second Annual NASA Challenger Day held at the Challenger Center, Discovery Museum in Sacramento on February 5, 2001.

Their mission, entitled "Rendezvous With A Comet", was to build and launch a probe from a spacecraft that would rendezvous with Halley's Comet. They would then collect and analyze the tail gases for their contents. The students were split between the spacecraft and Mission Control. Partway through the mission, the students switched locations, enabling all to experience both settings.
