This year the 5th and 6th grade students at Cambridge are receiving additional team and esteam building from a program called Friday Night Live. Students are placed in random groups so they learn to cooperate with other students that they might not even know. Then they are given challenges to solve, but first they must plan a stategy together. In order to plan, they must learn to listen to the ideas of other students and show respect for others, if they want to be shown respect. The end result is excercise for the mind and body and hopefully more respect for each other.
